When someone mentions “Facebook,” the automatic response to a post would certainly be “like”. It is Facebook’s trademark – as a matter of fact, it has become its branding symbol. Netizens casually scroll down the Newsfeed and click the “like” emoji as an acknowledgement to all posts the friends or pages had posted, but this is not actually a guarantee that they are opening the post.
Facebook users, post to express all their feelings and views on anything or everything that is happening on everyday life in an exchange of good impression and sympathy from the audience. It is not an occult that all ages nowadays use Facebook, so everybody has his/her own say on all posts. Just imagine how many emotions one could feel on a post. This new emojis really are making a cosmic detour of the usual “like” button.
When a post gets a lot of likes on Facebook. it actually does not mean that all who liked it really liked the post. It is now so typical for netizens to click “like” without even clicking the “see more”.” Like” is a reaction that says “okay I see your post” and it seems like there is no feeling at all. To collect a lot of likes on Facebook these days creates a cool feeling that many have seen the post and makes the one who posted it quite famous.
But when a post gets love or hearts, it could mean that the friend or friends had a bursting feeling upon seeing the post. There is extreme affection of the lover. You could just imagine how many emotions there are in one heart. This love emoji appears when you point the cursor on the like button so it means you cannot hover by the News Feed and “love” unlike the “like” button where you can just pass by and “like”.
